Using the technical skills I've gained in class I was able to protay excatly what I wanted to in this project. I wanted to display a feeling of sadness or melanchony. To do this I used combined straight and curved lines to give the eyes that slanted look. I wanted the eye to look defeated, beyond just sad. I was able to make the tear stream flowing down his eye to further portray the despair the eye feels. I also utilized curves to make laugh lines to put even more emphasis on that tired, depressed look.
